A true believer of innovation and science. The quality of life can only be improved if you are looking for a better solution with creativity. Be unsettled, be imaginative! I always envy the young students nowadays with so many learning resources, supports in this golden era of technology. Are you ready to take a ride on the Moore's Law curve and be a star in the fourth industrial revolution?
Hi, I am Jago, the Regional Director of this hackathon! As I am always fascinated in STEM-related projects (especially computer science ones!), I therefore decided to take part in organizing this event! I also see this as an excellent opportunity for me to develop my interests and passion. I really look forward to seeing all your amazing projects and crazy ideas!
Hello, I’m Andrea, the Director for Platform and Tech. I always enjoy seeing new technological innovations and discoveries, so this would be a great chance to seek out new ideas and inspire myself, and I hope that our event inspires others as well! I love being in charge, so this is a great opportunity for me to improve my leadership skills. I plan to study law in the future so STEM will definitely be useful.
Hello guys! I am Krieger, event manager for this newly created competition. I decided to join the team originally as director of finance but was arranged this role instead. I wanted to be a part of this executive team as I have very few experience in technology related events so I hope to learn more about the latest technology, innovations, and meet with guests from different industries!
Boo! My name is Sarah, and I’m the Director of Finance for the team. I joined because I love money, and I want to develop management and some basic accounting skills as well. It is also about time that I contributed to our school, so this is a great opportunity for me. My hobbies are drawing and playing the piano (I am very mediocre) and playing video games.
Hello! I’m Charlotte Wong, the design and marketing director. I helped with the website that you’re looking at (a bit), and all the artsy stuff you’ll see on our social media was made by me. I like photography, writing, and Doctor Who; so basically, I’m a huge nerd. (Honestly, doing both design and marketing is hard - if any future design/marketing directors find this, make sure you split the workload with someone else.) Stan Peter and Jenny (the other design and marketing directors respectively) for clear skin.
Hello! I'm Walter, the director of outreach for XdHacks Mini HK. As the outreach director, I am in charge of coordinating and organizing all external partnerships and sponsorships. I like programming, gaming, and watching YouTube in my free time. As a big fan of technology and being addicted to coding, I want to see how technology like developing new software can solve real world problems.
I’m Macy and I’m one of the Director of Logistics for this year’s hackathon. I joined the executive team to take part in creating a competition that encourages people to freely share their ideas, create something that they are passionate about and ultimately form friends with each other! I’m planning to study engineering in the future so this will definitely help me learn more about STEM and the designing process!
I’m Kathryn, one of the directors of logistics for this hackathon. The main reason I joined is because of CAS, as part of the IB curriculum, but I also thought this would be a good experience to practice my skills in planning public events and organizing data (which is something I’ve been interested in for a decent while). I hope to contribute to the event with my strengths, while developing my weaknesses in the process.
Hello, I’m Katrina, one of the Directors of Activities for this hackathon. I’ve always loved math and science, so I was delighted to have this opportunity to help organize this event and I hope it inspires more people to pursue their interests in STEM. I’d also like to contribute more to my school community. Hope everyone has a good time in this hackathon!
Nice to meet you! I'm Jessie Cho, one of the two Directors of Activities. I was in charge of coming up with and planning the events that take place in the Hackathon. Though I haven't had the privilege of mastering the art of coding, I've always been aware of the large role technology plays in our lives. Since coding is basically the foundation for the entire virtual universe, helping out with an innovative event like this has truly been a thrilling, enlightening experience, and I am very honored to be chosen to share this opportunity with our school.
